Eastwood Visitors Center Bank Stabilization
The scope of work primarily consisted of repairing bank erosion along the existing discharge channel just downstream of Portal Powerhouse by constructing erosion control and hard armor bank stabilization measures. The repairs comprised placing both anchored shotcrete and grouted rip-rap with the installation of anchors on the bottom boulders where an effective keyway could not be excavated due to the presence of hard bedrock.
