Kerckhoff Dam Low-Level Outlet Gate Replacement

During a dive inspection of the three 6-foot diameter Low-Level Outlet (LLO) gates on Kerckhoff Dam, substantial leakage was discovered, along with extremely high corrosion. Syblon Reid was awarded the contract to rehabilitate the LLO’s. The scope of work included dredging the accumulated silt on the upstream side of the dam, demolishing and replacing the existing steel LLO components, and removing and replacing the existing LLO sluice gates, actuators, and pedestals.
