Cottage Creek Access Road Repair
The Cottage Creek Access Road Upper Slope Instability Repair project is located above the Emerald Cove Marina boat launch parking area at New Bullards Bar Reservoir in Yuba County, California. The work included the installation of a soldier pile and tieback retaining wall, guardrail, and drainage improvements, as well as repaving a small portion of Cottage Creek Access Road.
The project posed several challenges, including performing work on an environmentally sensitive, sloped site with an unstable moving hillside and very tight working quarters within which to operate larger drilling equipment.
